**EKYN Youth Summit 2023: Uniting Forces for Ekiti-Kwara's Development**


On the 2nd day of December 2023, the EKYN Youth Summit brought together a diverse array of stakeholders, including government officials, Commissioners for water resources commissioner for energy, CEO Factual Times media, Igbomina youth assemblies, student associations NAKSS NHQ, NAEOS UIL and representatives from various concerned bodies. The event served as a beacon of collaboration, aiming to foster unity and progress among the community, government entities, and other relevant organizations.

The framework of progress outlined during the summit illuminated a pathway towards the growth and development of Ekiti Kwara. Discussions were robust, engaging, and insightful, centering on vital issues such as government policies and the pivotal role of the youth in societal development.





Under the theme "Youth as Catalyst to Community Development in Ekiti-Kwara," the summit encapsulated in-depth analyses and discussions led by enthusiastic professionals in their respective fields. The emphasis on empowering the youth as catalysts for community development resonated strongly throughout the sessions, shedding light on the immense potential of the younger generation in shaping the region's future.

 The leadership and entire members of Ekiti Kwara Youth Navigators (EKYN), a development-oriented youth association in Ekiti Local Government Area, Kwara State, extend profound gratitude to the Federal Government of Nigeria under the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR) for its ongoing efforts in revitalizing infrastructure across various parts of the country. However, we find it imperative to draw urgent attention to the deplorable condition of Federal roads within the Ekiti and Oke-Ero Local Government Areas of Kwara State.
